Terms of use
These terms cover the goodreport.app website and the Good Report mobile app. By using either one, you are agreeing to them. They are meant to be fair and short.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. Keep your sign in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You must be old enough to enter an agreement where you live.
Your content is yours
Everything you write in Good Report belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need to store it, sync it between your devices, and show it back to you, and to show a companion the specific things you have chosen to share. We do not claim ownership, we do not publish it, and we do not use it to train anything.
What you agree not to do
- Use the app to harass anyone, or to store information about someone that you have no business storing.
- Break into, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
- Resell access, or use the service to build a competing product from the inside.
- Break the law with it.
Paid features
The core of Good Report is free and is intended to stay free, including the companion. Some additional features are paid. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, and their refund policies apply, not ours. If a subscription renews, you can cancel it in your platform account settings, and cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding past ones.
No affiliation
Good Report is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and nothing in it should be read as official. Scripture and Church materials are not included; the app links out to the official Gospel Library app.
The app is provided as it is
We work hard to make Good Report accurate and dependable, but it is provided without warranties of any kind. It is a planner, not a medical, legal, financial, or spiritual authority, and you remain responsible for your own decisions. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; the export feature exists for exactly this reason.
Limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they do not apply to you.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from settings. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally unable to.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app and update the date at the top. Continuing to use Good Report after that means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
